The biggest irritation for many people who moved from an older version of the iPhone to the new iPhone 5 was the smaller Lightning port. This meant that without an expensive and wonky adapter, your existing alarm clock dock and other plug-in accessories wouldn’t work with it.

If you haven’t already bought one of the million and one other iPhone/iPod docking stereos out there, you might want to check out this one. iHome’s  iP4 stereo looks just like a classic boombox, but with an iOS dock in place of a cassette player.

iHome has one of the largest ranges of iPod and iPad docks around. The company has added one more offering to that range today with a new dock called the iP3. The new device has Bongiovi Digital Power Station tech inside with 50W of power if you’re looking for some serious sound.

Now I’ve got an iPad, and I really enjoy it. I can even imagine bringing it into bed to read a book or play a game on occasion. And while I’d love to have a place to charge my iPad by my bedside table, the idea of an alarm clock dock for the iPad seems a little silly.

iHome‘s new iConnect USB keyboard makes it easier for iPhone and iPod owners to connect their devices with their computers with its dedicated dock. That’s the Mac version. As you can see the iConnect also has the requisite multimedia control keys.

The latest and greatest iPod/iPhone compatible speaker system from iHome is here, and it sure looks iGood. The iHome iP1 features a striking industrial design with two oversize cylindrical woofer chambers, poking through a sleek smoked acrylic faceplate which also houses a pair of high frequency drivers.
