The iPhone 4 and 4S are expensive gadgets, and their glass plates look good but are also quite slippery, so it only makes sense for owners to protect them with cases. But most cases add bulk and obscure the beauty of the devices.

It’s not as high tech as the OmniTouch or the Sixthsense, but the Monolith case for the iPhone 4 is still innovative. Not only does it protect your phone, it also acts as an external battery pack and has a built-in projector.

Woodman Labs’ GoPro cameras are not terribly expensive for what they’re capable of. But if Matt Ozawa and Jimmy Bajza have their way, people who already own an iPhone 4 can turn the phone into a capable substitute for the popular POV camera.

You don’t have to wait until Spring 2011 to get a white iPhone 4 – if you already have the default black one, that is. Fei Lam, a 17-year old college student out of Queens, New York is selling a conversion kit for the iPhone 4 which is supposedly of such great quality that “FaceBook employees, undisclosed celebrities, accessory makers, and more” have bought the kit.
