Have you got $4,000 and a month to spare? Well if you do, you can do like this guy did, and build your own Iron Man War Machine costume. Yep, this is real-life costume, not a CGI rendering!
Jonah Block aka biotwist has finally cracked the formula:
Uhh, that last one doesn’t look right. Still makes for a good shirt though. Vote for it now on Threadless.
In an alternate galaxy far far away, R2D2 was a brilliant billionaire astromech who built himself an armored suit to fight the bad guys. Cue AC/DC music:

Stop motion master Patrick Boivin – creator of Ninjas Unboxing and Iron Man vs. Bruce Lee – made a short film starring his baby daughter. It’s about a rich and brilliant baby, who invents an armored suit to fight the bad bunnies.
Universal Designs, makers of the Wolverine motorcycle suit, have a new comic book movie tie-in. This time they’re going to make a motorcycle suit replica of Iron Man’s suit-in-a-suitcase, the Mark V, which takes so long to put on you wonder why Whiplash didn’t just rip off Stark’s head while the latter was suiting up.
Believe it or not, Iron Man 2 won’t be in Japan’s theaters until next month. What injustice! A country that loves robots so much, and they haven’t seen it yet?! But the Stark-starved Japanese might be getting something that the rest of us won’t: Medicom’s Iron Man 2 Kubricks.
I took my 8-year-old son to see Iron Man 2 last Friday, and he was all excited about it after seeing the action on the previews. We had only been watching the film for about half an hour before he asked me when it would be over and was ready to leave.
I’m sure a lot of cosplayers out there would take a repulsor blast in the face to have a slick Iron Man or War Machine costume. While not impossible, building the full costume takes an insane amount of talent, time and materials.
It’s funny how comic book characters rarely age. I’ve never been an ultimate Iron Man fan – Spider-Man always did it for me. It looks like Marvel is reprinting Tales of Suspense #39 from 1963 to celebrate the release of Iron Man 2 and the new Diesel fragrance, Only the Brave.
Shellhead turns to Spudhead with the inevitable movie merchandise: the Iron Man Mr. Potato Head.
Tony Starch comes with removable parts and pieces, and his head can be replaced with any Mr. Potato Head um, head.
Next month, Marvel will release a slew of comic books with alternate covers that feature different renditions of Iron Man. Marvel calls its gimmick Iron Man by Design, and oddly enough, none of the books are Iron Man titles.
With the new Iron Man 2 movie just around the corner, a variety of bits and bobs with an Iron Man theme have started to make their way to stores for fanboys and girls to enjoy.
Graphic designer/illustrator/geek Reis O’ Brien has a very funny photoset on his Flickr page featuring funny cosplayers, action figures, drawings and other images. Let’s look at the cosfailers; the fact that these are real people and not drawings makes them doubly amusing.
Just in time for the hype for the next Iron Man movie to begin, this Iron Man vinyl decal sticker lets you customize your MacBook with superhero style.
Sure, the Snow White vinyl sticker is really neat, but Iron Man kind of kicks Snow White’s butt into next Sunday.
Superherohype forum member Masterle247 must be the Tony Stark of cosplay. He’s making a War Machine costume in time for the release of Iron Man 2, and man the suit is looking sweet. So sweet that even Iron Man 2 director Jon Favreau approves of it.
Topless Robot posted the trailers for the upcoming Iron Man and Wolverine anime. According to Mania, both features will be shown on Animax in spring 2010. Both of them will be produced by super studio Madhouse, responsible for classics like Ninja Scroll, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Trigun, Millennium Actress, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Hajime no Ippo and many other awesome stuff that I want to watch again.
