For this epic LEGO project, a team of people from Rolls-Royce the built an incredible 675-pound replica of the Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 jet engine. The LEGO jet engine you see here took 152,455 bricks to build and is accurate all the way from the fins of the intake fan to the combustion chambers were jet fuel would be burned.

Yo dawg, I herd you like Raptors, so I put a LEGO Raptor in yo LEGO Raptor, so you can fly prehistoric-style while you fly. That’s what Jack Marquez, who goes by “Ewok in Disguise” on Flickr thought a lot about that when he was constructing his little F-22 Raptor fighter jet out of LEGO blocks.

Yves Rossy, the flying Swiss maniac, has appropriately called himself Jetman, and I have to say that his moniker is well deserved, because that thing strapped to his back just looks plain dangerous. His latest stunt?

How’d you like to curl up for a nice nap inside the engine cowl of a 747? Well ask, and ye shall receive… The madmen over at MotoArt have taken the engine nacell from a decommissioned 747 jet engine and turned it curvy metal headboard.

These office chairs are crafted from old military aircraft ejector seats – and they are awesome. The guys over at Motoart took this seat from an authentic Vietnam-era F-4 fighter jet, and turned it into a cushy, padded desk chair.

I don’t usually get too excited over the prospects of owning a new calculator, but sometimes industrial design just reaches out and speaks to me. Such is the case with designer Theo Williams’ new Jet Calculator from LEXON.

This gadget takes your ordinary bathtub and brings it to life in a cascade of moving water and bright colors. The AquaRain is a battery-powered device that floats along the surface of your bathwater and sprays a geyser of constantly recirculating water into the air in a couple of different patterns.
