While pundits mull the Seahawks’ questionable decision making at the Super Bowl, the Internet is talking about Left Shark. One of Katy Perry’s dancers, Bryan Gaw made glaring mistakes at the halftime show performance, turning him into a meme within hours.

Pacific Rim director Guillermo del Toro said that he wanted the robots to be unique. Apparently that also applies to their names. How else do you explain monikers like Gipsy Danger and Striker Eureka? And now we have 4th String Jaegers:

Some of you may have thought that the (non) news about the U.S. government wisely turning down a petition to use its resources to build a Death Star had reached its conclusion with the Death Star fundraiser.

The U.S. government said ‘no’ to a petition signed by thousands of people asking for the construction of an actual Death Star. Not to be deterred, another group of concerned citizens have taken to the internet to raise funds to build the massive structure themselves.

You have to wonder: if that girl who was wearing the itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polkadot bikini was afraid to come out in the open, how would she feel if she were wearing this bubble wrap bikini instead?

Taking care of babies is hard. You have to feed them every few hours, check them if they’ve pooped or peed regularly, and change them if they did. I stayed with my sister once when she just had her baby and all I can say is, it was a pretty exhausting ordeal.

My sister’s baby crawls around so much that the floor looks infinitely cleaner and shinier by the time she’s all crawled out. Someone else must’ve apparently noticed this with their own babies, because why else would they come up with something as silly and amusing as the Baby Mop romper?

Thanks to the Internet, the gravity of trivial issues are quickly amplified and made overbearingly clear. We’ve just started to see some powered exoskeletons, and they are still pretty clunky affairs. So how can we even think about starting to build a real AT-AT? That doesn’t seem to faze the Mike Koehler, the man behind AT-AT for America – a campaign to build a fully-functional full-size AT-AT.

I can’t think of anyone I know who wouldn’t flip out if I put their phone inside this thing: The Cellphone Lock Up will trap phones – or any object for that matter – that fits within its narrow space.

I’m pretty sure you’ll never see Steve Jobs wear this shirt. And it’s not because he prefers turtlenecks. That’s Apple’s other Steve, Steve Wozniak, wearing a shirt that refers to Gray Powell’s infamous blunder. Powell is the now famous Apple engineer who last month went to a Redwood City, Calif.,

So the iPad doesn’t have a USB port, big deal. You don’t have to send files from it to a real computer (ooooh burn) before you can print them. Printing from an iPad is so easy!

It seems that the Snakes of MGS: Peace Walker are taking a cue from their Assassin predecessors. Top video game producers Hideo Kojima and Patrice Desilets contracted hay fever while making this trailer for the upcoming PSP game, so you better watch this until the very end.
