Even though the name ManCan sounds like a portable bathroom device, it is actually a beer keg that you can take anywhere. Imagine taking an afternoon hike and stopping for a breather as you serve yourself an ice cold beer straight out of a keg.

Phil Harlow wanted an easy way for him and his roommates to split the bill for their kegerator’s beer keg refills. So they all decided that he’ll just pay for it. Just kidding. Phil is working on a facial recognition system for their kegerator that will keep a tab for them.

R2-D2 has done many important things in his life. He carried the Death Star plans, befriended Luke, befriended Anakin before him (sure, whatever.) and even likes to ride in an X-Wing Fighter now and then. And now he is performing his most important task.

Life doesn’t get any better than having a robot that serves up some beer. It’s even sweeter when that robot is shaped like Google’s Android mascot. KegDroid dispenses beer through the use of a Xoom tablet running Android ICS as its main input/control system.

The guys over at Legit Reviews were walking the aisles at the PDXLAN 16.5 gaming conference in Portland this week, when they spotted this awesome PC casemod. Yeppers, you’re looking at the official beer keg PC.

A few engineers over at Yelp have built this high-tech beer keg, controlled by an iPad. As engineer Jeff Micklos describes in the video below, the reason they made this geeky keg-bot is because they “…love hacking, …love beer …and love iPads.”

This could very well be the best home arcade cabinet of all time. Not only does it include a fully decked-out arcade emulation system, complete with real arcade controls, it also happens to have a kegerator built in.
