Etsy seller Kilroy’s Attic makes folding brass knuckles designed to look like the Xenomorph from the Alien movies. I wouldn’t want to face a terrifying space creature that thinks I’m an incubator with just a melee weapon, much less one that only works at point blank range.

A couple of weeks back, I spotted an iPhone case that looked like brass knuckles, but it turned out to just be a conceptual design. But for those of you who liked the idea of turning your phones into weapons, there’s good news – another company is already offering up their own take on the iPhone knuckle case – the knucklecase.

If you live in a tough neighborhood – or perhaps one overrun with zombies – you might want to carry something to defend yourself with. While you could go with some brass knuckles, or maybe even some electrified ones, the iKnucks seem like a much more practical idea for today’s gadget-obsessed consumers.

The road from getting engaged to when the actual “I Do’s” are said is a long and activity-filled one. I should know – not because I’m married, but because I’ve got two sisters who recently got hitched.
