Over the years, laptops have kept getting lighter, more powerful, and sleeker. Among the leaders of the ultrabooks on the market is Razer, with their Razer Blade Stealth. Keep in mind that unlike some of the more heavy duty laptops that bear the Razer badge, this one isn’t really for serious gaming – at least not without additional hardware which I’ll tell you about later.

Laptop trays and portable desks come in all sorts of shapes, sizes and have different features. Some focus on keeping your laptop – and thighs – cool, while others add speakers, USB ports or even keyboards.

Liquid cooling systems have long been an option for desktop PCs, but not for slimmer computers like laptops. Until now. A company called Asetek recently demonstrated a liquid cooling system that can fit inside a gaming laptop, a promising technology for anyone who likes overclocking or not having their genitals or hands toasted by their PC.

Cooling stands are a dime a dozen nowadays, but the TILT concept laptop stand for the MacBook Pro may be the most practical one yet. It has a lot of features, but I think the one that makes it very effective is that it sticks to the bottom of the MBP, which means you can just leave it on and forget it was even there.

Our interactions with gadgets continue to get more and more natural and instinctive. Yesterday at CeBit 2011 Tobii showed off a very promising technology. The Swedish company collaborated with Lenovo to create the world’s first eye-controlled laptop.
