Everyone makes headphones that look almost exactly like everyone else’s. You’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all. Why doesn’t anyone think outside of the box? Well, as it turns out someone actually does. Eric Guack’s Lenovo SoundCube concept headphones come with a cool hexagonal design.

Ultrabook is definitely one of those buzzwords that has been overused in the past couple of years, as PC manufacturers try to put their own spin on MacBook-like laptops. Now, with the release of Windows 8, there are a plethora of new ultrabooks that offer some pretty cool options.

The new Lenovo IdeaTab S2109 was just unveiled, and this new tablet runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It has a 4:3 aspect ration and a 9.7-inch IPS screen with a 1024×768 resolution. Will it be a worthwhile alternative for those considering an iPad or Kindle Fire?

The thing I hate most about working on the road is that I have to use a tiny notebook keyboard and screen. Even if I use a full-size notebook, the largest screen you generally get is 14-inches or so.

Our interactions with gadgets continue to get more and more natural and instinctive. Yesterday at CeBit 2011 Tobii showed off a very promising technology. The Swedish company collaborated with Lenovo to create the world’s first eye-controlled laptop.

While I was trolling through the aisles at tonight’s CES preview event, I stumbled onto this oddity in the corner of Lenovo’s booth… This casemod hides the laptop’s keyboard underneath the arcade controls, and connects to the laptop with a single USB cable.

USB ports are like bacon – we can never have enough of ’em. If you own a Lenovo laptop, rejoice, because the company has just released the Power Hub, a neat device that integrates a 4-port USB hub into a 65W power adapter.

And so the manna begins falling from gadget-heaven. Actually it started falling way before CES officially begins, what with “leaks” and unofficial launches all over the net. Lenovo officially couldn’t wait to show off their new product, so they didn’t bother with rumors or pseudo-leaks and officially announced the Lenovo Ideapad U1 Hybrid before the start of CES as well.

Lenovo’s new IdeaCentre Q100/Q110 PCs (how British of them) are the first of a new breed of ultra-compact “nettop” PCs from the computer maker. The Q100 has a really svelte design and fits neatly on any desktop.
