We can’t enter the digital world like the Flynns did just yet, but thanks to the Oculus Rift, you may be able to experience what it’s like to duke it out in a light cycle. Custom video game machine maker Luis Sobral aka The Arcade Man made an arcade game featuring Tron’s famous vehicles based on the virtual reality headset.

It’s true that if you have though about putting LEDs on your bike, it’s nothing new. However, this new tech from Japan will really light your bike up like none other in the neighborhood. It’s called the Anipov LED system and it’s made by Japan’s Suns & Moon Laboratory.

I don’t know about you guys, but I really loved the Light Cycles in Tron. It was the best design of a new sort of motorcycle that we still haven’t seen on our roads. Sure, there are some really neat motorcycles in fiction, like the ones in Akira, but this design actually might be made.

TRON is one of the most famous geek movies of all time, and what better way to pay homage to the film than with another geek favorite? Flickr user/blocksmith/80s baby (I suppose) 2×4 created these neat LEGO light cycles and even posted step-by-step instructions on his Flick page.
