Here’s a version of Megatron that Optimus Prime would allow to flourish. Hasbro and Mighty Jaxx’s latest team-up with toy designer Quiccs is a 9.5″ x 11″ x 7″ vinyl bust that sees the Decepticon leader brandishing two silver spray paint cans.
Earlier this year we featured Takara Tomy’s killer crossover combo action figures of Optimus Prime as a Sony PlayStation and Megatron as a Sega Mega Drive. It turns out the toy maker also released a US variant of the latter – Genesis Megatron.
Thanks to the Transformers’ 30th anniversary, we’ve seen Optimus Prime and Megatron turned into glam rockers and bears. Now they’re also video game consoles. Takara Tomy will be releasing limited edition action figures of Optimus Prime as a Sony PlayStation and Megatron as a Sega Genesis aka Mega Drive.
Remember that old Megatron Transformer that turns into a gun? Well, LEGO builder Baron von Brunk from New York has outdone that one. His version of the toy has the Decepticon leader Megatron turning into something much more geeky – an NES Zapper gun.
With the impending release of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, it must be quite irritating for many hardcore Transformers fans to see their beloved series be twisted the way it has been for the past three movies.
This amazing Transformers Megatron tank sculpture was created in China and it’s a pretty impressively large thing, weighing in at almost 5 tons. The tank was created by Jiang Chen and Yang Junlin’s Wing Wah ironworks factory.
Michael Bay and company continue to slaughter redefine the classic robot franchise. Movie website JoBlo was able to score a few pics of the action figure version of Megatron in Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon, and…and… he looks kinda bad ass.
