You wouldn’t download a mech, but you would and you can download a mecha’s mask. It’s all thanks to designers like Etsy seller SeberdrA, who offers STL files of masks and other facial cosplay accessories inspired by popular mecha, cyborgs, and other anime, video games, and science fiction characters.

Masazi. A woman forced to become inhuman. Okay not really, but damn she makes being a tortured cyborg look awesome. The veteran cosplayer and her friends made this kickass Raiden suit complete with moving helmet parts and those weird hoof heels.

Metal Gear Rex action figures are nothing new; we even featured one that was made out of LEGO. But a toy modder going by the moniker NG-78 made one of the most unique and dangerous versions of the toy, or any toy for that matter.

For those of you who enjoy the Metal Gear franchise, you might be familiar with a little mech that goes by the name of REX. Well, LEGO builder Rags naRock is also quite enamored of the giant robot, and decided to build himself a LEGO-fied version.

There’s a lot you can do with your food. Eating it is one of them. Playing around with textures and using it for art is another. We’ve seen a couple of awesome bento boxes featuring popular characters and pop culture themes, like Super Mario, Evil Dead and even Bioshock.

I can’t remember the last time I shared an article here on Technabob, but for Hideo Kojima, I’m willing to making an exception. This month marks the 25th year of the Metal Gear series of videogames, and the PlayStation blog was able to interview Kojima for a surprisingly honest retrospective.

We’ve seen tons of LEGO versions of video game characters, but this is the first time I’ve seen ones that are this accurate. You see it’s not just the shapes and details that Flickr member Meufer perfectly converted from pixels to blocks, she also got the colors right.

Sprite Stitch forum member klammyq made the perfect sleeping companion for any Hideo Kojima fan: It took 26,000 stitches and almost two years for klammyq to finish the Snatcher themed pillow. Meanwhile, it’s been almost 22 years since Kojima made the cyberpunk game.

MOCPages member/MGS fan/Brick master Rags naRock made cuter versions of GEKKOs, the nimble, creepy, bovine-like killing machines in Metal Gear Solid 4, and they just make me wish for a LEGO Metal Gear game. Check out the rest of the pictures, they’re a real treat.
