Shotaro Kaneda’s red motorcycle has become the unofficial symbol of Katsuhiro Otomo’s cyberpunk masterpiece Akira, beating out its memorable characters or even its visionary plot and themes. Two highly talented LEGO builders going under the name The Arvo Brothers pay tribute to Otomo by constantly working on a LEGO model of the bike.

Have you ever wanted to ride a motorcycle that’s basically made up of a big electric battery, a hefty motor and two wheels popped on the bottom? Well, the Voxman Wattman won’t win any beauty competitions, but you’ll laugh all the way to the finish line, as you blow your competition away, all with zero emissions.

I would be hesitant to put a plane engine inside of a car, let alone mounting one on a motorcycle. That’s just crazy. I just let others do the work and enjoy their success from afar.

While I really enjoy the occasional ATV or Jet-Ski ride, and regularly ride my bicycle, I have to say I’ve never been all that comfortable riding a motorcycle. Maybe it’s because the first time I rode on one, I was riding on the back of the seat with a crazy person behind the handlebars, holding on for dear life.
