Because who hasn’t dreamed of driving a giant shoe, New Balance has teamed up with Nissan to advertise its new 327 sneakers with the specially designed Nissan Kicks 327 Edition, an SUV all dressed up just like the shoe.

If you love to play video games at your desk for hours on end, then you need a good chair with lots of support. Since Nissan knows a thing or two about engineering seats for long road trips behind the wheel, they decided to give it a shot, and came up with three awesome concept designs, each inspired by one of their vehicles.

Nissan is apparently taking a pause from building cars so that they can give the world its first self-parking slippers. The company has taken a small chunk of its automated vehicle smarts and applied it to a traditional Japanese hotel experience.

You probably read that title and thought, oh Nissan made a car that can control a driving game. That would be a flawed assumption because why use a parked Qashqai crossover to control a driving game when you could use said car to control a soccer video game instead?

If you are into music, you probably know who Deadmau5 is. I’m not a big fan of his music, but I did like his Nyan Cat Ferrari. Ferrari took issue with how that car was clad and eventually, Deadmau5 ditched the Purrari.

If I had to fight off hordes of zombies, I’d want a good car that could quickly escape, and could also keep me out of harm’s way from the biters. And while the forecast has yet to be cloudy with a chance of walkers, it’s still never too early to prepare for our eventual demise at the hands of these mutants.

Nissan just made the rear-view mirror twice as useful. Its Smart mirror neatly hides an LCD monitor, which can display live video from a camera mounted at the rear of a vehicle at the flick of a switch.

One of the cool things about motorsports is that you can count on some of the tech you see at the race track today making it to production cars of tomorrow. I really hope that holds true for the awesome engine that Nissan has shown off that will power the ZEOD RC racing car during the 24 Hours of Le Mans, when it’s not running on battery power.

I’ve always been a fan of factory-modified cars (meaning that all mods are under warranty) – especially when they blow away more expensive, luxury sports cars. I love cars like the Subaru WRX STi and the Nissan GT-R.

Nissan is on its home turf at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, and has used the occasion to unveil some very cool concept cars. One of the coolest cars to turn up at the show is called the IDx Nismo.

I find that receiving too much information while I’m driving can be a major distraction, but I guess that Nissan thinks that Japanese drivers can handle it. They’ve just unveiled their own augmented reality glasses which appear to compete directly with Google Glass.

Nissan has unveiled a very interesting new concept car that will make its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show. The car is called the BladeGlider and it has a unique three seat design. Nissan says that the BladeGlider is a proposal for the future direction of Nissan electric vehicle development and an exploratory prototype for an upcoming production vehicle.

The Nissan Rogue SUV was introduced back in 2007, and has since become one of Nissan’s best selling vehicles. The first generation Rogue was made in Japan, and while a solid small utility vehicle, it didn’t exactly thrill with its styling.

Criminals are gonna love this Nissan Skyline R33 that was coated with heat-sensitive paint by UK bodyshop Auto Kandy. Imagine robbing a bank and then driving under a waterfall to change the color of your car.

Nissan seems keen to give Google a run for their money in the autonomous vehicle technology category, and the Japanese giant is working hard at creating functional robot vehicles for 2020 and beyond.

Normally backseat drivers are a pain in the butt, but with this car, it is the backseat driver doing all of the work. King of Customs in Dubai modified this 2008 Nissan Patrol SUV so that it is controlled from the rear seat.
