I remember the innocent days when the Wii was new to my house and my daughter was too young to care that it had games and stuff. When she turned five she started to show interest in Wii Golf and played with my son and me a bit.
As much as I love the minimal design of the Nintendo Wii, sometimes I find the whole white plastic thing a little boring. That’s why I love this concept for a Wii woodgrain paneling update.

In between all the reports of who’s got the thinnest flat screen at this week’s CES show, it’s easy to overlook some of the hidden treasures to be uncovered at the trade show. Take, for instance, this great new wireless controller for the Nintendo Wii.

At this point, the Nintendo Wii really only has one flight game available, Wing Island. Anyway, somebody still thought it might be a good idea to take the Wii controls and stick ’em into a flight control rig.
It amazes me how many shooter accessories are starting to surface for the Nintendo Wii, despite the lack of games that you can actually use them with. However, manufacturers continue to crank them out, and this is one of my favorites so far.
There’s a rumor floating around today that Nintendo is going to release a series of new controllers for the Wii in at least three new colors. Both the Wii-mote and Nunchuk controller are expected to be released in silver, blue and pearlescent pink sometime later this Spring.
