Enano Computer’s Windows-based desktop PCs measure in at just 6-inches square by 2-inches tall, making them about 1/2-inch smaller than a Mac Mini. Enano desktop computers come in a variety of configurations ranging from a low-power Celeron M CPU all the way up to an Intel Core 2 Duo model loaded with multimedia features.

If you’re in the market for a home theater PC that’s feature packed and looks great, check out the new FLeX line of HTPCs from Italy’s P. Guerra. FLeX home theater PCs feature zippy Intel Core 2 Duo mobile processors and are packed in slick mini case that’s reminiscent of a black Mac Mini.

Some guy with too much time on his hands developed this painstakingly accurate menu system based on the Wii interface, coined “WiiOS.” The menu system is a very faithful reproduction of the Wii menu system, and he’s got it all tied together with his Wii-mote to let him control some emulated console games on his PC.

This little USB controller has a fun little trick up its sleeve. The Pocket Gamepad is hinged in the middle, folds in half and flips shut for maximum portability. The compact game controller measures just 3.93″ x 1.81″ x 0.47″ when opened and about half that width and twice that depth when folded up.

The Sony VAIO TP1 reinvents the wheel (literally,) by placing the latest in media center PCs in a case that’s shaped like a wheel. The TP1 features all of the requisite media PC bells and whistles, such as an HDMI port, a DVD burner, memory card slots and built-in Wi-Fi.

LG Electronics has announced a new device that combines a widescreen LCD television with a full-fledged Windows PC. The computer adds virtually no bulk to the flat panel display. The first system in LG’s TVPC lineup will come with an Intel Celeron 430 CPU, 160GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM and on-board WiFi connectivity.

If you think that smaller is better, you might want to check out this wee (not wii) PC for your desktop. The Linutop is a compact, disk-less workstation which runs an embedded Linux OS on its AMD Geode CPU.

Gateway has introduced a new series of low-cost PC desktops which roll in a number of features typically found on higher-end gaming machines. Gateway’s DX420 series starts at as little as $599.99, including a 1.86 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 processor.

In case you’re too impatient to wait for the Nintendo Wii-mote or the Sony PS3 motion sensing controller, peripheral maker eDimensional has announced the upcoming release of its gyroscopic motion sensing controller for the PS2 and PC.

A official post on the UbiSoft community forums confirms the the anxiously awaited Splinter Cell Double Agent for the Xbox 360 and PC will be released on October 19th, 2006. Also revealed was an Xbox 360 multiplayer demo in the works for the Xbox Live Marketplace, and single/multiplayer demos for the PC both to be available around the end of September or so.
