I’ve heard of people trying to build a better mousetrap. I’ve never heard of anyone trying to build a better pencil sharpener. That is exactly Matt Marrocco hoping to do with his Kickstarter campaign. The project aims to produce electric and manual pencil sharpeners, going by the name IDRAW.
To be honest, I haven’t used a pencil to write with in a long time. But for sketching and drawing, it’s still nice to use one. And what better way to keep your pencil sharp but by letting a beaver gnaw on it with its mighty incisors?

I always used mechanical pencils when I was growing up as much as possible. I hated having to go to the sharpener and sharpen my pencil. I did indulge in the occasional grade school game of get your pencil super sharp and throw it dart-style into the ceiling though.
