Time flies by so fast. It seems like it was only yesterday when I was complaining about homework in high school… Or hanging out with friends in college… Or scrambling for my first job interview a few weeks after graduation… The human brain can only remember so much.

In case you missed it, back on April 25th, there was a partial lunar eclipse. While it wasn’t visible everywhere, it definitely was seen by photographer Tamas Ladanyi, who captured this cool multiple exposure image of the 27-minute-long event as it appeared over Tihany, Hungary.

Samsung has added a new digital camera to its lineup called the NX2000. The camera has an exceptional resolution of 20.3-megapixels and uses an APS-C CMOS sensor. One of the best features of the camera is its blazing quick shutter able to activate in 1/4000th of a second to catch fast action.

Panasonic has announced a slim and stylish compact digital camera that is available with 10 unique designs on the outside. The camera is called the Lumix DMC-XS1 and is said to be the thinnest 5x optical zoom camera with a retractable lens and optical image stabilization.

The good news is that you can now do more with the photos that you’ve captured using your smartphone. The bad news is that it doesn’t come for free – but then again, nothing good ever does, does it?

Have you met the Block Man? He’s a life-sized non-person who has two eyes, a nose, a mouth, a pair of arms and a pair of legs, just like you and me. The only thing is, he’s not alive, because while he has the same body parts as you and I, he’s made up of nothing but ink and cardboard.

Nero has announced a remote shutter trigger for photographers that has some very interesting tricks up its non-existant sleeves. Rather than simply allowing you to remotely trigger the shutter, the Nero Trigger has the ability to automatically trigger your camera and flash under a variety of different conditions.

Samsung launched the original Galaxy Camera several months ago. The camera was interesting because it promised high-quality photographs and had integrated LTE connectivity from some major wireless carriers within the United States. That integrated wireless connectivity meant that you could upload photographs to cloud-based storage or your favorite social networking site on the go.

Pictures speak a thousand words. A couple more hundred, if they’re really good. When arranged one after the other chronologically, you could even use them to tell your life’s story. Doing so, however, will take a lot of time and patience that you may not have.

Remember the Socialmatic camera concept by ADR-Studio? It’s been almost a year since they unveiled the instant camera basically takes Instagram to a whole new level. It took a while, but they’re going ahead with production for the Socialmatic, which is expected to launch early next year.

Nikon has announced a new DX-format digital SLR camera called the D7100, and it looks like a very capable camera for the price. It uses a DX-format CMOS sensor, offering an 24.1 megapixel resolution. Nikon fits the camera with its EXPEED 3 image-processing engine providing high-performance without an optical low-pass filter.

Growing up, it wasn’t a holiday or a special event unless there were at least two Polaroid cameras whirring and spitting out instant pictures. If you grew up in the 70s or 80s, you probably owned one or more of these cameras, or at least your parents did.

Beauty isn’t only skin deep. Sometimes, the most beautiful people on the outside happen to be the nastiest, ugliest people on the inside. Similarly, plain Janes and boring Johns might not look like much physically, but they can have the purest, kindest hearts of gold.
