Sony has announced another milestone for the PS4 game console. The company has revealed that the console has now reached the 6 million units sold mark. This achievement comes days after the console launched in Japan to very strong sales for the opening weekend.

Avid PlayStation gamer Blackangel887462 loves to collect Platinum trophies, a virtual achievement awarded for obtaining all of the lower tier – Bronze, Silver and Gold trophies – achievements in a PlayStation game. To celebrate his 500th Platinum trophy he commissioned a replica of the award.

Earlier, we showed you a way to use an actual DualShock 4 controller with your jailbroken iOS device. While these are only DualShock 2 controllers, they will plug directly into your smartphone. Unfortunately, that’s where the similarity ends.

There are already plug-and-play third-party devices that let you play previous gen consoles or a PC using any of their controllers. For instance, you can use a Wiimote with your PS3 if you want. There’s no equivalent product for the PlayStation 4 just yet, but Marcos Mori de Siqueira of Softfactory is onto something here.

If its predecessors are any indication, the PlayStation 4 will eventually be released in a variety of colors and finishes. It probably won’t be released in faux wood though. That’s where dbrand comes in. The Canadian company sells gadget skins made from 3M vinyls.

Last month we found out that the PlayStation 4’s DualShock 4 controller more or less works with a PlayStation 3. PCSX2 forum member InhexSTER made a tool allowing you to use the controller with Windows games.

This past weekend, the U.S. Midwest was struck by some really nasty tornadoes. As tornadoes will do, they caused some very bad destruction in the areas and some even lost their lives. Tornadoes are pretty scary and they can destroy everything you have in just seconds.
