Sure, the PS4 and Xbox One (or “XBone” as we like to call it around here) are coming out in just two months, so the idea of buying an Xbox 360 or PS3 doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to someone like me.

Yesterday Sony introduced a gaming device that’s as surprising as the Nintendo 2DS. Alongside its announcement of a new PS Vita model, Sony also introduced the PlayStation Vita TV. But while Nintendo wants to grab new mobile gamers with its new handheld, Sony seems to be going after its existing customers with the PS Vita TV.

After months of anticipation, Sony today announced their next-generation PlayStation console, the PS4. Despite showing off the controller (which we’ve already seen,) Sony continues to be evasive about showing off the console itself, or discussing pricing.
An image has surfaced showing off what appears to be a prototype controller for the upcoming PlayStation 4 (aka “PlayStation Orbis) console. The photo shows a controller that looks largely like a Dual-Shock, but with the addition of a smooth area in the middle that could be a touchscreen of some sort.
We’ve featured a handful of videogame collections for sale, but this one takes the cake. eBay member videogames.museum is selling what amounts to uhm, a videogame museum. Hundreds of consoles, thousands of games and hundreds upon hundreds of accessories and promo items.
I’ve been hanging on to my original fat, shiny, backwards-compatible PlayStation 3 in anticipation of the eventual release of the PS4 – but I might just have to run out and buy this newly-announced bundle when it comes out anyhow.
Best. External. Hard drive. Enclosure. Ever. Shadow of the Colossus is a little long in the tooth, sure. But anyone who has played it has a lot of love for the title. Packing in amazing gameplay and a great story, fans are passionate about it.
