If you’re an Apple fanboy or fangirl, here’s something nifty to set in your living room. It’s a soft and squishy plush iMac.
Created by textile artist Kerry Hughes, the plush iMac appears to be running Logic Pro 8, so it’s perfect for iMac fans who are also musicians.
Just like that computer on your desk, this 17-inch tall, one-of-a-kind plush iMac comes with a matching wireless keyboard and mouse.
Everyone’s psychopathic robot in huggable, squeezable form:
From left to right, that’s GlaDOS’s morality core, curiosity core, intelligence core and anger core. The plushies are made of fleece with felt and ribbon accents. They can also talk!
You got to hand it to the people behind these Cthulhu accessories. They make something pretty frightening look pretty cute. While I don’t think that it’s a good idea of making fun of Cthulhu, it’s certainly something cute to give any HP Lovecraft fan.
If you’ve ever played any table top RPGs, you’ve probably heard of the Cthulhu Mythos.
Blizzard will soon unleash cute plush pets for World of Warcraft fans, starting with the Wind Rider Cub and Gryphon Hatchling.
Each adorable widdle monster will come with a special code that will unlock its virtual, non-combat, account-bound equivalent.
These plush, handmade Resident Evil grenades will sadly not explode on impact… but that does mean they can be thrown over and over, to the great detriment and humiliation of your victim. Or you can just throw ’em at the television, which is what creator Id decided to do.
Ah, lovely, colorful, and not-quite-deadly.
When it comes to Katamari Damacy, it’s all about the King and the Prince. The Queen gets no love and she hardly even shows up in the games! Of course, as full of himself as the King is, do you blame her for not hanging around?
Do your kids scare easily? Are they budding serial killers? Then these plush stuffed animals are probably not for them. On the other hand, if your kids are into gross stuff, and understand the difference between play and real life, these car-flattened stuffed animals might be fun sitting beneath the Christmas tree this year.
Toad is probably the cutest character from the Mario ‘verse (Mario in various boots and outfits aside), but he doesn’t show up as often as many of the other characters in crafts outside of cosplay, which is why I was so thrilled to see this adorable knitted version.
He’s all fat and puffy and soft, like a sock monkey but about six hundred times (I measured) better.
Zombies are supposed to be frightening. They represent a never-ending wave of hungry and unstoppable death, and that’s just no fun. So what’s with all the cute zombie plushies?
deviantARTist think-purple admits that this plush may not be perfectly crafted, but it’s certainly good at draining all the menace from the leaping Hunters from Left 4 Dead.
This handmade plush Yoshi of Nintendo fame is straight up awesome… and its maker isn’t completely satisfied. Talk about perfectionism.
At first glance, I thought that was professional work. If I’d seen this Yoshi in a store, I wouldn’t have thought twice about picking him up and giving him a squeeze.
There’s absolutely nothing sadder than a cookie that’s not for eating (except perhaps the level of hyperbole in this sentence). We could be talking about the best cookie ever–and these would make the list, if there was a list, and being edible wasn’t a requirement–but if it’s not for eating, it’s a dealbreaker.
Crafty Star Wars fans will have their goods on display this year at Stitch Wars this summer, and one contribution is this pair of plushies from The Empire Strikes Back. One part Luke, one part tauntaun, all chilling-in-innards fun.
deviantARTist GlassCamel has found a way to defeat the Decepticons once and for all: render them as completely helpless (and cute) plushies. Felt has really got to be the least threatening fabric in the world. You just can’t hurt anything if you’re made of felt.
It took quite a bit of fabric, too, to craft this softie Shockwave–more than half an ounce, apparently.
