Back in the day, there was a Nintendo arcade and NES game called Punch-Out!! As far as I know, it was the first boxing game ever. The original arcade game featured fictitious fighters like Glass Joe, Piston Hurricane, Bald Bull, and Mr.

The video games of old, like Super Mario Bros. and Tetris had some of the best music ever. But would we even recognize them if the music were played backwards? Listen and find out. Musician Stemage created a digital album featuring several memorable NES game themes performed in reverse.

Pauline Acalin mashed up the Neil deGrasse Tyson reaction meme with Nintendo’s classic boxing game Punch-Out!! to create this funny print. Can you imagine what physics boxing would be like? Chess boxing would be a walk in the park compared to that.

Here’s something you don’t see every day. Mike Tyson playing Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out on the NES. For the first time. Yeah, I’m not sure I believe that, but then again, it’s not like Mike can act, so it’s probably true.

Remember the classic Nintendo boxing game Punch-Out!? I still think it’s one of the most entertaining fighters of all time, especially with its over-the-top combatants. Well if you remember Punch-Out! as fondly as I do, then you’ll enjoy these collages by artist Chris Lange.

It took crafter Sewsew-a-Gogo almost two years to create this Punch-Out!! art, and it looks like it was well worth the wait. When you first look at this thing from a distance, it doesn’t look like much, but when you realize that it took her over 80,000 cross-stitches to bring this 12″ x 28″ piece to fruition.

A confession: I do not like Nintendo’s Wii. I do not like to waggle, I do not like to daggle. Wii is only fun, for me, when I am playing with the Wiimote held horizontally (like in Punch-Out!!
