As are many of you, I’m a huge fan of The Mandalorian. The Disney+ series is packed with great characters, tons of action and surprises, while still paying respects to the classic tropes of the Star Wars universe.
Fans of Boba Fett all know how the bounty hunter meets his demise in Return of the Jedi. He gets ejected by a blinded Han Solo right into the maw of the Sarlacc where he will be digested for all eternity.
Check out this massive and awesome LEGO Sandcrawler made by Jarren Harkema and Calvin Hartley. They studied Star Wars: Episode IV inside and out then set out to create this beast. They also spent hundreds of hours planning, designing and building it.
A few years back, LEGO builder Marshal Banana created an incredible Star Wars Sandcrawler model. Later, the model would find its way to Cuusoo, but never quite got to the point it needed to go into production.
Geeky soaps are becoming more and more detailed. I still remember being impressed by the D20 soap and the controller soaps. But now we have soaps that look like freakin’ sandcrawlers. This thing looks good enough to be a toy!
Remember that spectacular LEGO sandcrawler model we featured last year? Built from over 10,000 LEGO parts by Marshal Banana, it was truly the work of LEGO master. While the original was a completely custom build, Marshal is hoping to convince LEGO to turn it into an official kit you can build yourself.
While some people were never impressed with the Jawa’s Sandcrawler from the Star Wars saga, I’ve always thought that it was pretty cool since Jawas themselves are quite small, but their transport is humongous. As a tribute to Jawa ingenuity, LEGO whiz Marshal Banana created this incredible build.
