Space geeks are going to love this. Remember Carl Sagan’s message for extraterrestrials? Right now it is about 13 billion miles away from Earth aboard the Voyager I spacecraft. Hopefully some aliens (or the crew of the Enterprise) will find it soon.

We have some good news and bad news for X-Files fans who are also LEGO fans The good news is that a concept for an awesome X-Files LEGO set was submitted to LEGO Ideas. The bad news is that it was rejected because it was thought to be too mature for children.

I love Doctor Who, but I suck at chess. Even so, I want to buy this set just because it looks so amazing. However, I lack the financial resources to spend almost $1000 on a chess set, so I am just going to have to admire it from afar.

We’ve seen Star Wars chess sets before and we’ve seen some LEGO chess sets as well, but this one combines both and is a real work of art. It’s the third in a series of LEGO chess sets designed by Brandon Griffith.

When I was a kid I used to love planes and I built countless models of them. One of the neater ones was the Sopwith Camel. Check this out. It’s the newly revealed LEGO set number 10226, the Sopwith Camel, and it looks amazing.
