A guy recently built his daughter a sweet winter sled, powered by two leaf blowers. It was made by a very cool dad from Belgorod, Russia, and he is clearly winning at the parenting game. The video below is only about 18 seconds long, but that’s long enough to show off this crazy creation as it propels the kid through the snow chasing an adult. 

Check out this massive AT-AT walker that doubles as a sled. It wasn’t built by the Empire, which is why it isn’t the size of a skyscraper. Doug Brewbaker, Garret Geiger, and James Groves spent 70 hours building this amazing seven-foot, eight-inch tall AT-AT Walker sled.

Snowmobiles are fun and fast, but when you just want to get down a big snow-covered hill, there’s nothing like a sled. If you’re the kind of speed freak that enjoys going 40mph downhill, then this sled might be for you.

This Millennium Falcon sled probably won’t do the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs, but if there is snow, this ship has got it where it counts. Sean Murray built this awesome sled for an office event – and also for his Star Wars loving daughter to enjoy.

Snowspeeders are awesome. One of my favorite parts from The Empire Strikes Back is the Hoth battle, with those Snowspeeders zipping all over the place. If you want to make your own snowspeeder, this is how it is done.

I live in Texas where it’s not just hot in the summer, its hawt. The upside is that in the winter if we get below freezing more than a few weeks it’s a bad winter. That said, we rarely get snow so we don’t get to make snowmen or throw snowballs each year and sledding is unheard of around here.

So maybe it won’t make the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs, but this Millennium Falcon sled should take you down the neighborhood snow mound in 10 seconds flat. The colorful snow sled doesn’t have the battle scars that the real Falcon has seen, but I’m sure after a few wipeouts (or laser cannon blasts from your neighbor with the personal TIE Fighter), you’ll have it looking pretty close.
