If you’re reading this blog, there’s a good chance that you can connect to the Internet on a fairly regular basis. But even with the advent of Wi-Fi and mobile data connections, there are still many places where you won’t have access to the Internet.

ABI Research has unveiled their estimated number of SMS messages that will be sent in 2011. According to the research firm, there will be 7 trillion SMS messages sent during the new year. A while back I told you about a watch out of China that had a mobile phone built into it. Unfortunately, that ended up being a cheap knockoff of the real deal by Australia’s SMS Technology, and was subsequently pulled off the shelves.
