After glasses-free 3D HDTVs, it makes sense that some of the parallax viewing technology would allow you to do something like this. Sony has now demonstrated a new TV set which allows two people to watch two different channels at the same time, depending on where they sit on the couch.
The Kinect has gotten a lot of love from the hacker community on the PC, but what about the PlayStation Move?
While not quite as revolutionary as Microsoft’s answer to motion gaming, the Move’s true 1:1 movement tracking can make for some fun.
The thing I missed most when I went from a point-and-shoot to my DSLR was the huge 12x zoom that my point and shoot had. Sure, I could buy a larger zoom lens for my DSLR, but those things are expensive.
When it comes to major gadget releases, nothing’s really a secret any more. So if you’re even a casual browser of tech or gadget websites, I’m sure you know that today, January 27, 2011, Sony is set to announce its next generation portable.
We have had PS3 hacks around for a long time, but typically, they are plugged with new firmware just about as fast as they are published. Sony doesn’t like hacks for its console and likes us to think that any hack is just a way to pirate video games, not to use the console for other purposes.

PC gamers, are you looking for a better way to control your PlayStation 3 first-person shooters? The FragFX Piranha might be the ticket.
The unusual controller comes with two components – a left-hand control pod which provides directional movements, and a right-hand mouse for accurate aiming and firing.
This is definitely not how Sony wanted it to go down, but here it is – pictures of a prototype of the upcoming Sony Ericsson PlayStation Phone have been leaked. It’s not surprising that Sony went the PSP Go route, given it’s slim form factor still allows for a relatively large screen – about 3.7 to 4.1 inches in this case.
Are you having problems with your PlayStation 3? Is your console not starting up, or maybe giving you the Yellow Light of Death? Maybe you need to crack open the box and check it out to see what happened to it.
Looks like Sony is officially the first to market with HDTV sets with integrated Google TV capabilities. While standalone Google TV devices like the Logitech Revue seem price prohibitive, Sony is entering the market with aggressive price-points for TVs with the tech built in.
