I grew up being forced to watch Mr. Rogers Neighborhood on the TV. I always found the show creepy and never liked to watch it. I think if Q suddenly turned up and whisked Picard away to a creepy kid’s show where you are forced to change shoes in the house and wear cardigans, this would be the sweater the Captain would wear.
Star Trek fans who prefer the original series to its other incarnations, prepare to have a nerdgasm. You can soon get your hands on an original series Bluetooth communicator.
Inside the gadget is Bluetooth hardware and a rechargeable battery that allows you to pair it with your smartphone and actually receive calls and talk via the communicator.
If you are a fan of science fiction in any form, you surely know the name Leonard Nimoy. Nimoy played Spock in the original Star Trek series and in many movies on the big screen including the Star Trek reboot.
If you work in an environment where you have to keep business cards on you at all times, it sucks fishing in your pocket for cards when you need them. If you don’t put them inside a case of some sort, they end up all bent, frayed, and crappy looking.
Take some Trek with you when you hit the office, thanks to these Star Trek TNG Ties. Make it sew!
You can choose from Command Red, Engineering/Ops Gold, or Sciences Blue. So no matter what division you are in, you can represent it with a cool tie.
Super-Fan Builds has done again. They truly make geek dreams come true. How would you like to have this Star Trek Enterprise desk and chair in your home or office? I would never get any work done, because I would be too busy zipping around, pretending I’m going to warp speed.
Check out the image here, no the USS Enterprise hasn’t landed to take in a soccer match. What you are seeing in the Google satellite image is the headquarters for a Chinese software firm called NetDragon.
Garden gnomes are weird. I always imagined that they would come to life and try to kill me in my sleep growing up. I am not such a big fan of the original Star Trek series, but I certainly watched all the big screen movies growing up with the original cast.
When Adam Savage isn’t working on Mythbusters or other projects, he spends his off time creating some really cool and geeky items.
Case in point is this Star Trek captain’s chair replica. The project was inspired after Savage purchased an expensive “replica” captain’s chair that left him wanting more.
This studio apartment built to look just like Star Trek’s Voyager is for sale in the United Kingdom. And it is not located in London’s Delta Quadrant.
The small apartment is in Hinckley, Leicestershire and was created by Tony Alleyne.
These steel Star Trek coasters just look awesome. They will beam stains from your drink elsewhere to help keep your surfaces clean.
This set of five 4″ Star Trek coasters comes from Etsy seller ApocalypseFab and features the three colors of the crew.
Christoph Kauch and Rol Schwarz found a way to hide their UniFi access point in plain sight. They mounted the device inside Revell’s scale model of the USS Enterprise from the original Star Trek TV series.
Worf was always one of my favorite characters on Star Trek: TNG. I liked his wrinkly head and he was always ready to put a smack down when needed. I always thought Worf was pretty lucky that Starfleet uniforms didn’t have hats – there’s no way that massive forehead would fit under a hat.
