Christoph Kauch and Rol Schwarz found a way to hide their UniFi access point in plain sight. They mounted the device inside Revell’s scale model of the USS Enterprise from the original Star Trek TV series.
Worf was always one of my favorite characters on Star Trek: TNG. I liked his wrinkly head and he was always ready to put a smack down when needed. I always thought Worf was pretty lucky that Starfleet uniforms didn’t have hats – there’s no way that massive forehead would fit under a hat.
Captain’s log, Stardate 92776.95, Starship Enterprise. We have happened upon a planet filled with women of great uhm… assets. They all wear tight pants and stand in strange poses all day. I am gathering an away team to explore the planet and for the first time in the history of the Enterprise, every red shirt onboard has volunteered to come along.
As you likely know by now, Leonard Nimoy passed away last week. And so the internet was full of tributes for the actor. This is one of the best. Now Nimoy has been immortalized in the massively mulitiplayer role-playing game Star Trek Online.
Summer will be here before you know it and you will be ready to head to the pool, lake, beach, or river to cool off. That means you will need a pool float so you don’t have to put any more effort than needed to float around staring at girls in bikinis.
I know a bunch of people who can’t function in the morning without a few cups of coffee in their system. If you are one of these folks that needs your hot caffeine, and you happen to love Star Trek, I found your coffee cup.
This Christopher Pike T-shirt is clever, but so very sad. When you see it, all you can do is wonder what happened to his wheelchair. Remember, Christopher Pike had a nasty radiation injury and was left paralyzed.
I have never kept secret the fact that I am much more Picard than Kirk. I never liked the original Star Trek series, though I enjoyed all the films from the ’80s. If you like action figures and Star Trek: The Next Generation, Funko has a collection of great new Pop!
Tribbles are sort of cute little furry characters that can cause all sorts of trouble. The little beasties multiply faster than rabbits and gum up the works leading to all sorts of problems. If you were overrun by tribbles, perhaps you could turn to using their pelts for something like this coin purse.
This Star Trek wall clock boldly goes where no clock has gone before. Assuming that spot on your wall has never had a clock, anyway. This brushed metal clock has a dozen vintage Action Fleet Micro Machine starships indicating the hours, with DS9 in the center.
Here’s actor, writer and TableTop host Wil Wheaton wearing a Ghanaian hoodie. Nah, just kidding. It is of course a riff on the turtleneck sweater of his Star Trek: The Next Generation character Wesley Crusher.
Fortunately for Trekkies and fans of deus ex machina, this hoodies isn’t a one off.
As a geek I have always wanted my own communicator badges like the ones worn by characters in Star Trek – something that actually works and isn’t just decorative. Well, a company called OnBeep has a product called Onyx that could fit the bill.
Geeky watches are fun, but the problem is that they can cross into dorky territory very easily. This new watch from ThinkGeek, however, manages to just look like a sleek, minimalist, modern watch. If it didn’t have “NCC-1701” proudly printed on the face we’d have never guessed that it was a piece of Star Trek geekdom.
