Stephen King’s IT offered up some truly terrifying moments, both in its 1990 TV miniseries run and its 2017 movie incarnation. While Pennywise the clown is super creepy, you might not want to have his head sitting on your desk every day.
Stephen King’s Pet Sematary was a scary book as were both of the movies it inspired. Whatever you bury in that that dark place comes back, but what comes back isn’t what you want. Now, Funko has immortalized the evil, resurrected Gage in POP form.
Sometimes it rains cats and dogs, and you need an umbrella to avoid getting wet. Your umbrella doesn’t have to be boring and black. It can have creepy clowns and blood splatter on it.
The IT: Raining Blood Pennywise liquid reactive umbrella is up for pre-order on Merchoid.
The recent IT movie was very creepy if not outright scary. If you don’t like clowns, you probably will want to look away. After all, Pennywise the clown is simply horrifying. But if you like your circus folk with cracked foreheads and bloody faces, keep on reading.
Of all the stuff that Stephen King has written, his best work by far in my opinion is The Dark Tower. The way all of the characters are woven into the body of work is incredible, plus it’s got guns and stuff.
I don’t expect to see the new Stephen King IT movie any time soon, because I don’t go watch scary movies at the theater. It’s not that I am afraid of the movie, I’m just afraid my wife will scream and dump an entire ocean of soda on the person next to us like she did when we saw House on Haunted Hill back in the ’90s.
The Shining was one of the films that helped put Stephen King movie adaptations on the map. Jack Nicholson was superb in that film and it was scary as hell. Still, I happened to have liked the 1997 TV mini series adaptation better.
We have a whole category of this website dedicated to geek wear, and while much of what we post is amusing, how much of it would you actually be willing to wear?… and I mean in public, and not GenCon public… real public.
Stephen King is one of the most celebrated modern authors in the world. He has a huge number of books, movies, and TV shows to his credit. King is typically thought of as a horror writer, but some of my favorite stories King has ever written don’t necessarily fit the traditional horror genre.
