I think pretty much every geek out there’s familiar with HBO Go. This is the app and website which allow you to watch every episode of your favorite HBO series and movies the network shows on your computer, mobile device, and on some set top boxes.
If you’re a customer of cable provider Comcast, a new app update is available for you on Apple and Android devices. The app is the Xfinity TV Player App and it will allow you to download TV shows and movies directly to your mobile device to play offline and on the go.

Thus far, the Wii has only had Netflix for streaming content, but that will change soon. Nintendo has announced that Hulu Plus will be available on both the Wii and the 3DS very soon. While we don’t have a launch date yet, we do know that it will hit “both systems by the end of the year.”
I never really understood why Hulu would have wanted to sell itself to a new owner. It already had the perfect owners to get access to the content it needs to be successful. Still, the bidders circled with firms like Microsoft and Google said to be in the running.
