A while back, I outfitted my garage with a pair of Striker TRiLIGHTs. Those bright LED lights are still going strong, and have proven an excellent way to illuminate the entire space. But what about those times when you need to work under the hood of a car, or need direct, up-close lighting?

If you’re like me, your garage is filled with all kinds of stuff – tools, boxes, bikes, lawn equipment, and, oh yea, cars. One of the most annoying things about looking for stuff in there is that regular light bulbs don’t do a very good job illuminating the place.

While I haven’t been around naval mines much, I have to say that this does look like a naval weapon of some kind. Thankfully, it’s not. It’s actually an intelligently-designed task light.
