Created by Michelle Wibowo of Michelle Sugar Art, this Mario cake looks like it took quite a bit of time to put together, and you could only eat his body. From what I can tell, his head is made out of foam, covered with fondant.
Now you’re probably are saying to yourself, why would I ever dress up my dog like a character from Super Mario Bros.? And I’ll tell you that you need to do it so your furry friend can be just as humiliated as you are when you have to pick up his poop.
Itching for a classic platforming game? Why not revisit the original Super Mario Bros.? Oh sure, you’ve finished it tons of times, but that’s with Mario. Now you can adventure on the Mushroom Kingdom with Link, Samus, Simon Belmont, Mega Man and – this is just so unfair – Bill from Contra in Super Mario Crossover.
Unless of course the bullies in your area are gamers as well, in which case they’ll just ask that you hand this vest over to them. Or else.
For those too young to know, the vest features a screenshot from World 1-1 of Super Mario Bros.
Remember Dirk VH’s giant LEGO Mario? Well it looks like LEGO Mario has a new bricky dinosaur friend, in the form of LEGO Yoshi.
Dirk took about 60 hours to build this 2-foot tall LEGO Yoshi, complete with bulbous proboscis (I think I know the name of my new band).
From the warped minds at Swing Swing Submarine comes this insanely frustrating Flash game that gets its inspiration by combining the worlds of Tetris and Super Mario Bros.
The gameplay of Tuper Tario Tros. starts out just like SMB, but as you start to proceed across the platforms, you quickly find out that the Mushroom Kingdom is largely impassable due to the configuration of blocks in your way.
While snatching up this pillow isn’t likely to give you the ability to toss fireballs (though how cool would that be?), it just might add a little life–or, uh, heat–to your sofa.
This super-soft-looking pillow is one of a series celebrating a variety of Super Mario Bros-related objects, and if you ask me?
Who here among us doesn’t like super mushrooms? After all, they’re red, delicious and give you plenty of extra strength. This handmade stained glass power-up mushroom is sure too remind give you a jolt of happy whenever you look at the light of day through it each morning.
Certain images from the classics of gaming are burned indelibly into our brains; they are so iconic that they are recognizable not just to gamers, but to nearly anyone who has paid attention in the last couple of decades.
Artsy geek parents always produce the most awesome projects for their children’s bedrooms! Maybe it’s the fun of pixel art, but it seems there are tons of examples of geek kids’ decor around. Even so, this is a welcome addition to the ranks: an awesome Mario and Luigi dresser.
Every once in a blue moon, you have to peel your ass off the sofa and take a break from your video game so you can get something to eat. But that doesn’t mean you have to stop playing when you get to the kitchen, does it?
I love Mario, but even I have to admit that the old school games are, well, old. I’ve played ’em a million times, and even though Super Mario Bros is a classic, it’s always fun to spice it up a little.
