It seems Nintendo has taken Wesley Snipes’ advice and bet on black. Nintendo has announced that it will be launching a new black version of the 3DS XL, known as the 3DS LL in Japan, on November 1.

Sticky notes are a useful office tool. I can’t get enough of them, and after years of use I don’t know how many I’ve used. However, I can’t say that I’ve ever seen this many sticky notes used in a single animation.

Some guy created an amazing scene inside of his fish tank. It’s not the usual aquatic theme. Instead it is a Super Mario Bros. level submerged underwater, flagpole and all. You would think that he would create one of the underwater levels, but that’s okay, this level is still completely amazing underwater.

We love a good retro case mod and nothing says retro like a Super Mario Bros. mushroom. This one comes from Etsy seller 8BitBuilder (who created the even more special Zelda PC case) and it is an awesome looking Super Mario Mushroom PC tower case mod that that looks like it is about to lift off like a rocket.

These custom Super Mario and Zelda themed Roomba covers are awesome and adorable. It’s like the games coming alive in your living room, while your place is simultaneously getting cleaned. How cool is that?

President’s Day is upon us, and what better way to celebrate the USA’s forefathers than by getting yourself some appropriate retro 8-bit t-shirts, featuring Abe Lincoln and George Washington looking like characters from you favorite Super Mario game!

Any gamer worth his salt knows that Nintendo wasn’t always a video game company. Founder Fusajiro Yamauchi started out in 1889 making and selling playing cards, particularly those used in a Japanese game called hanafuda. Fast forward to the 21st century and we have these Super Mario playing cards.

Here’s what Mario fans have been waiting for. Nintendo has released a TON of Super Mario Land 3D screenshots and character renders for your enjoyment. I’m not a real big fan of the 3DS myself, but I have to say, this title makes me want to buy one just to play this game.

I’ve actually never thought of combining the characters from Super Mario Bros. with the ones from Street Fighter, but for some strange reason, they do seem appealing. The only thing that’s missing is that either they could be made out of large pixels or strangely muscular cartoon drawings that are animated in low fps.

For some reason, I don’t remember Mario looking this way. Not only have I never seen the roly-poly Italian plumber look this sexy, tall, or wearing this much eye makeup, but I’m pretty sure his overalls were never quite this form-fitting.

We spend a lot of money on our gadgets, so we want to protect them. I can’t think of any better cases/covers than these Super Mario themed covers. They look awesome.

When it comes to fashion, geekiness is not wanting. And when it comes to earrings, why, it’s practically overflowing. Cases in point? The Portal Earrings which make for a good illusion, the White Circuit Earrings that are as geeky as earrings can get, and the Tiny Knife Earrings that can literally cut through you.

Remember the All Star Super Mario Bros. Nintendo Chuck Taylors that we were all drooling over? I’m sure you also remember how the only problem with those Chucks are that they won’t be released outside of Japan.

I have to admit that these lights are kind of cute, especially if you spend a lot of hours in front of a computer and love Super Mario Bros. While I can’t say if they’ll give you an extra life or make you grow bigger,  these new green and red mushrooms from Super Mario Bros still look pretty cool.

What would Zelda and Peach talk about if they got together for a cup of coffee? Well, College Humor decided to see where this would go. It’s probably best that these two video game characters don’t come out and play too often.
