As far as sponge holders go, this is a great one.  3D-printed and sold by Etsy shop Tecnopla, this green kitchen sponge holder makes Homer Simpson appear to be disappearing into a bush, just like in the now meme-ified scene from The Simpsons Season 5 Episode 16 ‘Homer Loves Flanders’.

Last summer, artist Miguel Vasquez created some images that show what Spongebob and Patrick would look like in real life. The renderings were the stuff of nightmares. Now, Vasquez is back with a rendering of what Homer Simpson would look like if you ran into him on the street.

We humans tend to recreate what we love as a way of honoring these things. People recreate monuments in LEGO, fantasy landscapes in Minecraft, etc. Some folks have even recreated The Simpsons’ opening title scenes. However one couple decided to do something a bit different.

Any fan of The Simpsons should recognize this image immediately. Mr. Sparkle is a Japanese dishwashing detergent mascot who looks a lot like a certain Homer Simpson. Now you can wear this Mr. Sparkle shirt and be a walking advertisement for the dish detergent – and tick Homer off in the process.

Sometimes the folks over at Mandatory.com like to make life sized recreations of cartoon and movie characters out of food. It’s fun, not to mention delicious. Their latest creation is a bust of Homer Simpson made out of all the junk foods that Homer Simpson loves.

Simpsons fans will instantly recognize this great green car. It appeared in the show in season two when Homer discovered he had a half-brother named Herb who was the CEO of Powell Motors. Herb gave Homer a job at the company and let him design the car of his dreams.

You remember McBain, the muscle-bound cop played by Rainier Wolfcastle, who is basically inspired by Arnold Schwarzenegger in similar roles. He was a recurring character in early episodes of The Simpsons and makes the occasional appearance in the series and its video games since then.

That LEGO Simpsons set we told you about the other day? It is official. LEGO has teamed with Twentieth Century Fox to release this bad boy and now we have more details.

Well this is pretty cool. Before Matt Groening had his Sunday night Fox TV shows under his belt, he needed a side job to pay the bills. He paired up with Apple to make a student’s guide titled “Who Needs a Computer Anyway.”

While I had to take off my glasses to be able to see the resemblance, once you see it it’s uncanny! It was definitely important to get the colors right on each of these 3 pixels, as that’s not a lot to be able to identify a character.
