McFarlane Toys is offering up a new The Walking Dead action figure. This one is a 10-inch version of Negan with his thirsty bat Lucille getting set to strike. I like to think this is right before he popped Glenn’s eye out.

Fans of The Walking Dead will want this cool miniature that features Glenn and Negan together in the moments just before Lucille popped Glenn’s eye out. The statues look just like the actors from the series, and commemorate one of the last moments we saw a whole Glenn on the show.

I like Negan, he’s a stone cold killer that will literally smash your head in, but he’s kind of funny in a screwed up way. When he popped Glenn’s eye out with Lucille, it was brutal, and he was grinning the whole time.

You might recall a few months back I talked a bit about the Vinyl Idolz Ghostbusters action figures. Those were cool, but the cartoonish characters had some weird eyes. Vinyl Idolz now have a Walking Dead series just in time to celebrate the premiere of the new season of the show.

Athens, Georgia-based Terrapin Beer Co. has teamed up with the creators of The Walking Dead to create an official beer. It is described as a “bloodthirsty Red IPA made with blood orange peel and a horrific amount of hops.”

The first time I saw Merle and Daryl in The Walking Dead I really didn’t like either of them. Daryl has definitely grown on me, though I was rather glad to see Merle turn. One of the most memorable scenes in the show was when they left Merle cuffed to the roof of the building in season one and Merle cut his own hand off to get away from the horde.

Every time I watch The Walking Dead, I end up thinking about what would be the best weapons to fight a zombie horde. I think Daryl has the best weapon with the crossbow. It’s quiet, can shoot a reasonably long distance, and the bolts are reusable.

One of my favorite characters on The Walking Dead is Michonne. I like her because she uses a sword to slice and dice zombies rather than a gun. If you are besieged with a bunch of slow zombies, I think a sharp Katana sword might be the best way to kill a hoard.

I’m a huge fan of The Walking Dead and one of my favorite characters is Daryl Dixon. Dixon’s look is best known for three things – his crossbow, his vest, and his chopper. I think a motorcycle is a questionable vehicle to use in a zombie apocalypse since they could just eat you as you roll by, but I don’t judge.

The Walking Dead. It’s the most awesome show on TV. You get to see zombies, people shooting each other, and hear Rick yell “CORAL!” all the time. Half the time that is what he calls his son Carl.

I love The Walking Dead, and one of my favorite characters is Daryl Dixon. He started off shaky for me in the first few seasons and I didn’t like him. I think he really started to be a good guy when he stopped Beth from drinking the peach schnapps.

Growing up, the only time we wore pajamas to bed or around the house was Christmas Day. The other 364 days of the year it was tightie whities or at best Funderoos. That means that each year when Christmas would come around we had to go buy new PJs.

Refrigerator doors must have magnets. That’s just a fact of life. Artist PJ McQuade has the right set of magnets for geeks, featuring characters from Star Trek, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and more. They include some of PJ’s Star Wars Christmas art, as well as mashups, including this badass Sith druglord.

I’ve been counting the days until The Walking Dead comes back on for its next season. If you are a fan of the show, you will find this Walking Dead Yahtzee game appealing. It has a sweet dice cup made to look like a Walker head.

I love The Walking Dead, and I know I am not alone. I got a kick out of the fact that Michael Rooker, the guy who played Merle Dixon on the show, and is one of the blue guys in Guardians of the Galaxy, uses a flying Crossbow bolt as a weapon in Guardians.

I’m sure that you have seen action figures and collectables of some sort that are packaged in a way so that you have no idea what you are buying. The mystery and anxiety over what character is inside is a big part of the fun.
