If you’ve been following Nintendo for awhile, you have probably noticed that they’ve make some pretty bone-headed decisions lately. A lot of them. Take these three new 3DS consoles for instance. They look awesome, don’t they?

Toad is probably the cutest character from the Mario ‘verse (Mario in various boots and outfits aside), but he doesn’t show up as often as many of the other characters in crafts outside of cosplay, which is why I was so thrilled to see this adorable knitted version.

This handmade plush Yoshi of Nintendo fame is straight up awesome… and its maker isn’t completely satisfied. Talk about perfectionism. At first glance, I thought that was professional work. If I’d seen this Yoshi in a store, I wouldn’t have thought twice about picking him up and giving him a squeeze.

These wacky things out of Japan feature the likeness of Toad, the familiar mushroom character from the Super Mario games. The fun part is that these mushrooms wiggle back and forth when powered by the sun (or a desk lamp.)
