I’ve been on this big tower defense game kick of late and have downloaded a number of the games looking for one that I really like. I’ve popped balloons and fought off aliens, but so far, nothing has really caught my attention for long.

Back in the day every time I went to the mall, I ended up standing in the game store playing the Neo Geo and scheming of ways to get the huge money that system cost. Sadly, I never got the cash scratched together before the console went out of production.

The guys at FluffyLogic tipped me off to a new iPhone game they’ve been working on for THQ and LucasArts. The Battle for Hoth is a strategy game which takes the basic mechanics of a Tower Defense game and applies it to the Empire Strikes Back universe.

Zombies have become increasingly popular in recent years, since everyone loves a good flesh-eating apocalypse, but the walking dead haven’t quite been used in all possible scenarios yet. You can even find references to zombies fighting Godzilla, for heaven’s sake (or a zombie Godzilla, which may happen after the aforementioned scenario), but rarely do we hear about plants fighting off zombies (or vice versa).
