When my daughter was three or four, I got her one of those pink Barbie Power Wheels Mustangs. I think I will remember until my dying day how she would throw that thing into drive and fly out of the driveway sideways.

A Jeep Wrangler is about as aerodynamic as a brick, has terrible fuel economy, and isn’t that comfortable compared to other cars in its price range. It’s also about 100x more awesome than just about any other SUV out there.

I had forgotten just how much I really loved The X-Files back in the day until I watched the very short reboot series earlier this year. I really hope Fox brings the show back again. If you want to relive some of that early X-Files glory, you will want to collect some of these X-Files Titans mini-figures.

Growing up, we had this tiny fluffy Maltese dog, and it was a vindictive little asshole. If you made him mad, he would creep up on the back of the couch all lovie dovie, nuzzle your ear, and then bite the shit out of your neck.

At some point back in the ’80s I have a vivid memory of going to a local fair and realizing that one of the items you could win in a carny game was a comb that looked like a switchblade.

Every Christmas growing up I asked for that old giant Kenner AT-AT toy. I never got one because I think my parents secretly hated me. I would end up with things like the Ewok Village Playset and other items instead.

I think Stranger Things is the best show that Netflix has ever made and I hope season two is much longer than season one. If you’re a big fan Funko Pop! Vinyl figures of the main cast are now available.

Leave it to Build-a-Bear Workshop to be constantly coming up with stuffed animals that my daughter will die without. The latest plush plaything that my daughter “needs” is this Kylo Ren bear, that looks just like the bad boy from The Force Awakens (if he were a teddy bear.)

Back in the day I thought that Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure was a hilarious movie. It was actually the first time I had ever seen Keanu Reeves in a movie. I’m not sure what Bill (Alex Winter) did afterwards, but Reeves went on to be in some of my favorite films of all times like  The Matrix, Point Break, and John Wick. 

I’m a big fan of Fallout 4 and since I am a guy, I normally play the game as a guy. That doesn’t mean there aren’t hordes of fans out there of the female persuasion or dudes that like to play the game as a female character.

LEGO Ideas showcases some of the coolest blocky constructs in all the world, and the best part is that some of the user-submitted designs eventually get produced. The latest awesome kit you can actually buy appeals to both the LEGO and car geek inside of me.

Growing up, I loved Star Wars and the only thing I wanted more than my own lightsaber was a life size R2-D2. Granted I wanted R2 to move around and do stuff, not just sit on a platform looking very cool.

A company called GandGRockers has whipped up an awesome rocker toy for the little Starfleet Captain in your life. It looks like the Enterprise, but with curved rocker legs on the bottom. It’s so much better than a regular rocking horse.

The Fiat 500 has been around for a long time in the automotive world with modern versions still in production. The LEGO Fiat model you see here is a replica of the classic 1968 Fiat 500 F and it looks fantastic.

I think Daenerys Targaryen would totally back this Kickstarter project. The project is to create a line of foam swords for kids (and adults) to play with that have interchangeable parts so you can repair them or make your own.

A few weeks back my daughter wondered how you would drink water if you didn’t have thumbs. She performed an experiment that ended up with water all over her shirt. This board game rather reminds me about that.
