Stressful times call for desperate relaxation measures. Some people play video games, while others take a time out from doing whatever to have a cup of tea and think things through. The latter group is who tea maker BOH is targeting with their newest ad campaign.

We’ve featured several robots that can dispense, fetch or even serve beer, but this deceptive little fella is the beer. Can. Invented by Ron Tajima, the transforming beer can robot reminds me of the scene in Transformers when all sorts of metal objects and gadgets were brought to life by the All Spark.

According to the list of Autobots at Wikipedia there are at least 8 Autobots that transform into vans or SUVs, including the popular ambulance Ratchet and the gutsy Ironhide. Unfortunately 0 out of those 8 Autobots are real (I think).

A while back I had a very popular post about Plen, a little bipedal humanoid robot who happened to be able to rollerskate. While that was all for show, this robot actually skates around as one of its primary methods of locomotion.
