I’d like to think that at some point in the evolution of Transformers, they looked as cheesy as this car one from Brave Robotics, Asratec Corp, and Sansei Technologies. The contraption is called the J-deite RIDE, which I think might translate to “Shitty Transformer.”

I’ll be the first to admit that I can’t even walk into Walmart and cobble together a Halloween costume for my kids. Not Renz2LK so much. This guy made his son one of the coolest Halloween costumes of the year.

We’ve featured Kenji Ishida’s progress regarding his transforming robot over the years. The first three models we saw were already coveted toys, but Kenji made it clear early on that his ultimate goal was to create a life-sized car that transforms into a humanoid robot. 

28-year-old street performer Joslyn Paige is giving kids in Ann Arbor, MI an amazing show thanks to his homemade Transformer costume. This autobot really transforms from a robot to a car. And while we’ve seen similar costumes before, this one actually drives!

UK-based artist Hetain Patel’s first car was a 1988 Ford Fiesta that was handed down from his father. In honor of his first set of wheels, this collaboration with his father and brother turns a similar vehicle into a Transformer-like robot that is far more than meets the eye.

Last year Kenji Ishida and his company Brave Robotics released 10 units of his awesome remote controlled car that can transform into a mecha. Unsurprisingly, all 10 units were bought, and there’s no word on when the company will release more.

Remember the toy car that transforms into a robot? The inventor Kenji Ishida is playing Santa to those of you who wished you could buy one. He’s selling 10 units of the latest version of his robot, which has a couple of new tricks up its robot sleeves.

Ever wanted a yacht? How about one that works like a Transformer? This new yacht expands so that you can enjoy it even more. Once fully-deployed, this yacht ends up with a walkable surface of 193.5 square feet with a width of 21.6 feet, which was apparently unthinkable a couple of years ago for a 42 foot yacht.

Transformers should always carry their own alcoholic beverages. That way they could drink a toast with Shia LaBeouf after they kick each others asses and wreck our cities with their huge bodies. If Transformers did carry wine with them, I imagine they would look just like this.

Watch below as Kenji Ishida’s transforming car changes from a car to a fully working robot just like in the kids cartoons – with no help from Michael Bay’s effects team. We’re not quite sure if it is a Autobot or a Decepticon, but it is 100% awesome.

I can’t remember the last time I played a portable gaming console, probably a Game Boy Advance SP, but the LEGO Game Boy Transformer sure makes me want to play Tetris again on the go.

I’ve never thought about mixing my shaving cream with my gadgets, but that didn’t stop Killspencer from thinking of a way of doing this, thanks to their new Dopp Folio, which does double duty as a carrier for your grooming stuff or your travel gadgets.

For his day job, Alan Yang sells hand-painted bone China wares, but this robot is anything but that. He’s also one of those Chinese guys who likes to make awesome steel Transformers, and is part of the crew that made some of those gigantic IRL metallic bots.

At first glance, Thomas the Tank Engine doesn’t have a lot going for him, badassery wise. He’s ugly, he’s made of old technology, he has no weapons and he can’t transform, overall useless in a fight.

Designer Ingrid Brandth was inspired by her grandfather, “based many of his ideas on excitement, humor and secrets,” to create this neat piece of furniture. At first glance, it may look like the plainest of tables, but there is more to it than meets the eye…
