So apparently, the Dark Side of the Force has transformed a statue of Vladimir Lenin into Darth Vader in Odessa, Ukraine. Apparently, a recent government ban has outlawed old communist symbols. As Lenin was one of the most commie of the communists in Russia, his statue has been altered.

Sadly, it looks like Darth Vader has been barred from running for President of Ukraine. Officials have found out that he was using a false name. You might remember that Vader had been nominated for the post by the Internet Party of Ukraine.

When voters go to the polls in Ukraine, they will soon have their choice between a bunch of the usual lying politicians and… Darth Vader. Hey, at least he is honest about being a jerkwad. Yes, Darth Vader has officially announced his candidacy.

I’ve seen some cool playground slides in my day, but this one has got to be the neatest. It is attached to a jetliner. How much fun would that be to use? In fact this would be a cool way to exit a plane at any time.

I’m a bit surprised that this isn’t in Japan. Look at them pixel flames burn! That’s the new “torch” of the Motherland statue in Cherkassy, Ukraine. The statue is one of several Motherland statues built in several locations across the former Soviet Union to commemorate the people who fought or died in World War II.
