Gadgets like mobile phones and tablets have a quick turnover rate. By that, I mean you can expect a newer version of that cellphone you just bought after a couple of months or so.

I am not a big fan of buying used games. Anytime I can get the same thing new for only a few bucks more, I go new. I know some folks – like my mom – will do anything to save a buck so my kids come home with used games from Grandma all the time.
Here’s a development for Amazon lovers (and shut-ins) everywhere: the online retailer has decided to get into the used game trade-in… uh, trade. Just search for the game in question, print a shipping label, and send it in.
Every time I’ve ever sold a used game to EB Games, I usually get about 20% to 30% of the retail price for it, then it shows up in the store for 80% to 90% of the retail price, which gives them a pretty decent profit margin already.
