I’ll be honest, when I bought Mass Effect 3 I wasn’t happy that the game forced me to install Origin to be able to play the game. The last thing I want is one more memory hogging program running all the time on my computer.

Of all the Call of Duty games I have played, I really like Black Ops the best. I’ve been hoping a sequel would be announced and now some details have leaked to fulfill that dream. According to a post on the Black Ops forum which was pulled down by Activision, Black Ops 2 is said to be launching on November 6 of this year.

I’ve had several friends over the years talk me into trying to play World of Warcraft with them over the years. I gave it a go on more than one occasion and always left after a few days because to me the game was rather boring.

The last time I really had to look hard to find a video game I wanted was way back in the day when Goldeneye was the most popular game in the realm. Now, EA is running a marketing stunt for Mass Effect 3 and this may be the coolest marketing gimmick in the history of video games.

If you are a fan of the Mass Effect franchise, an interview that surfaced recently will make you giddy with anticipation. The new Mass Effect 3 game is coming before you know it and the devs of the game are saying that the new title will delve deeper into the story than ever before, and that Commander Shepard will get more emotion.

Of all the games I have played the last few years, some of my favorite titles have been in the Mass Effect series. I really enjoy the way the franchise wraps shooting, adventuring, and RPG elements together to make a seriously slick and entertaining game.

The BBC has unveiled a short teaser trailer for the new game Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock. This news makes me nervous, since I can’t recall ever playing a good Doctor Who game. I know they have tried before, but it’s one of those properties that just never quite comes together right in game form.

I am a really big fan of the Hitman franchise of video games. I can say with certainty that this was the only third-person franchise I ever really liked. A new installment in the franchise is coming soon called Hitman Absolution.

Back in college, I had this friend who breathed, ate, and slept with nothing in mind but his video games. Counter Strike, World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy – you name it, he’s played. He also failed classes regularly, but last I heard, he’s into his final semester at school already.

It’s been a while since I went down over to the local arcade, but I went crazy with the racing games the last time I was there. I’m a really bad driver, so crashing and veering off the road without any real consequences was a welcome change for me.

It’s almost June and the wedding season is high up in the air. My sister and her longtime boyfriend of ten years just tied the knot a couple of weekends ago and I’m still weaning myself off the wedding bug (which makes me want to lie down in bed all day eating wedding cake.

I think that any 8-year-old knows that if they want to get onto the site for an “M” rated video game all they need to do is pick a random birthday that would make the fictitious owner 18 or older.

Remember those plants that would rise from those green (or orange or gray) tunnels in the Super Mario video games and then hide back after a short interval of time? You know, the ones that can also shoot out some fireballs in some versions of the game?

If you have been following the saga of the video game Duke Nukem Forever, it has spanned over a decade. Duke was a very popular character in the early games back in the 90’s, and then a long list of delays and promises unfulfilled relegated the game to the status of vaporware; and it pissed off a lot of fans along the way.

I am not a golfer. I don’t play mini-golf, and I don’t play golf video games well either. I have tried my hand at Golden Tee and failed miserably on more than one occasion. But if you are a serious fan of the arcade classic Golden Tee, the latest competition from the company is set to kick off soon.
