I’ve had a number of different home theater audio systems in my living room over the years, from component receiver/amp/speaker setups to one-piece soundbars. Each kind of sound system has its pros and cons, but my general feeling is that the best-of-all-worlds systems include a multi-channel soundbar with surround speakers and an external subwoofer.

These days, when you buy most TVs, you get some sort of smart TV functionality built in so you can stream content. But the vast majority of these streaming services require an additional subscription fee, adding to the cost of your broadband connection and the TV itself.

If you’ve been thinking about upgrading to a 4K HDR display, there’s no better time than the present – especially now that Vizio has launched their new 2017 models. I’ve been a big fan of Vizio’s displays for years, and I have the first-generation P-Series 4K display in my living room.

Not too long ago, VIZIO revealed its updated P-Series displays, which offer some of the best image quality you can get on a big screen these days. Now, some of the tech that was previously limited to top-of-the-line models has trickled down to VIZIO’s entry-level and mid-range displays.

VIZIO today rolled out the 2016 upgrade to its already awesome P-Series 4K displays, adding features heretofore reserved for their most expensive Reference Displays. For starters, the new VIZIO SmartCast P-Series Ultra HD HDR Home Theater Display (that’s a mouthful) now includes support for High Dynamic Range and Dolby Vision encoded content.

It’s been almost two years since I first saw Vizio’s incredibly impressive Reference Series displays. To be honest, when I saw the early prototypes, I thought they had the best picture I’ve ever seen on a display, ever.

Another day, another gazillion Bluetooth speakers. Vizio recognizes this lack of market differentiation, and has come up with a wireless speaker which truly ups the ante. Vizio’s upcoming series of portable speakers will fully support running Android apps on a built-in touchscreen.

I recently had the opportunity to swap out the 5.1 audio system in my living room with the Vizio S3821 2.1 soundbar and subwoofer. This slimline sound system is a great way to add high quality sound to your flat-screen TV without having to run a bunch of wires, and without breaking the bank.

I recently had the opportunity to go hands-on (and eyes-on) with one of Vizio’s new M-Series Razor HDTVs and I have to say that I’m really impressed with all of the bells-and-whistles you get for such an economical display.

Are you in the market for a new television? Then you’ll definitely want to check out these new sets just released by Vizio. The new M-Series refines the style of past Vizio displays, with a clean new look that virtually does away with the border around the screen.

Back during CES 2012, I had a chance to go hands-on with Vizio’s sexy new all-in-one PCs, and I was quite impressed with the industrial design, build quality and overall value at the time. With the impending release of Microsoft Windows 8, Vizio has announced two new AIO PCs with full 1080p touchscreen displays.

I’ll admit that I really like the design and style of the MacBook Air. However, I’m personally not a MacOS user or willing to pay big money for a notebook. If you feel the same way, Vizio has new notebooks that look very much like the MacBook Air.

If you have your eyes on a new Android tablet, but you don’t want to spend big money the new Vizio tablet should be on your list to check out. The tablet has a nice size 8-inch 1024×768 screen and a lot more at a price under $300.

If there’s one company that I was waiting for to make another LED LCD HDTV, it’s VIZIO. Their new ultra-widescreen 21:9 cinemawide HDTV supports up to 2,560 × 1,080 resolution.
