The weather is getting nice again and you know what that means. It means flying insects will start to bug you. Well, now you can solve your fly problem with a vengeance. Just use this salt firing shotgun called the BUG-A-SALT.
Before he had all of his fancy toys, Batman had to start somewhere. His first self-defense tool was probably a set of brass knuckles like these. They slip over two fingers and makes your punches feel like they came from the fist of Iron Man.
If you enjoyed Bioshock Infinite, I have some good news for you. The Sky-Hook is real! As real as it is likely to get anyway. What you see here is an “Air Grabber” prop (the Rapture version of the Sky-Hook from Bioshock Infinite’s DLC).
I’m not sure why a shape-shifting dog even needs a sword, but that’s Adventure Time for you. It doesn’t have to make sense to be an amazing cartoon. As you might expect, this sword is totally mathematical!
Perhaps inspired by The Amazing Spider-Man 2, prop weapon maker Patrick Priebe made a couple of wrist-mounted weapons that are triggered just like Spidey’s web-shooters.
One of the weapons shoots a tiny harpoon. It also has a winch that turns it into a Spider-Man and Scorpion mashup.
Flickr member, LEGO enthusiast and Bionicle pilot Nick Brick made life-size scale models of some of the weapons in the hit FPS Titanfall. Nick made the EVA-8 Shotgun, the Smart Pistol MK5 and the R-101C Carbine.
The laser-crazy toymaker Patrick Priebe recently shared what he admits to be the dumbest thing he’s ever made: lasers mounted on a pair of goggles. There are actually two pairs of lasers on the goggles, with the lower-powered red beams used for aiming.
Guns are great for taking out hordes of zombies from a distance, but what happens when you run out of ammo or if they get too close? No problem. With these tactical firearm axe heads you can quickly transition from ranged attacks to direct zombie-chopping action.
Back in 2010, we first talked about an interesting smart firearm that came from a company called Armatix. That gun was designed to fire only when the person was wearing a watch fitted with an RFID sensor inside.
I have always thought swords were pretty cool. In fact, I used to take fencing, if only because no one taught kendō in my area. If you have ever picked up a stick and started a mock sword fight with someone, you know that your foes tend to become liars quickly.
Victor Poulin makes all kinds of cool boomerangs. Even the glaive from Krull. He recently made this sweet Batman batarang, which works really nicely and comes back to the thrower. I just wish I could see the Joker get hit upside the head with this thing.
A couple of years ago we saw a pair of taser gloves made with everyday items. But both gloves had to be in contact with the target in order for them to deliver a shock. GreekGadgetGuru’s stun glove lets you ward off attackers with just one hand.
These special shotgun shells take the green revolution to the next level. If planting stuff the traditional way is too boring for you, then you might want to shoot up gardens instead with Flower Shells as your ammo.
What do you want for Christmas? I want a razor sharp wrist/arm blade that’s shaped like a scorpion with a pointy sharp death tail. Can I have it? Can I have it mom? Please? No… You’ll tear your eye out, kid.
