This Dalek cake is like a Doctor Who mullet, business in front, party in back. Or is it the opposite here? The cake features a Dalek on the front half, and on back it is a traditional wedding cake. 

Hopefully this zombie wedding cake tastes better than it looks, because it looks pretty disgusting. Normally wedding cakes are created to be beautiful and tasteful. This does not look beautiful, tasteful or tasty. It looks like some bakery got infected with a zombie virus and the cakes were not immune.

We’ve seen our share of geeky wedding cakes here at Technabob. Usually they stick to one of the couple’s favorite geek interests. Maybe two if they can’t decide. But what do you do if you love all of the things?

So what do you do when you get married and your wife wants a traditional cake, while you want to geek out and have a superhero cake? Compromise is the cornerstone of every good marriage, so why not make your first big trade-off the cake?

This wedding cake was created by Cupcakes by SJ for a cousin’s wedding day. The interesting thing about this cake is that it will never be complete. I mean, because it looks like it’s under construction.

Australian cake shop Cara Mia Cake made this realistic life-size NES cake for Vanessa and Chris Harding’s wedding. Instead of plastic and metal the chocolate cake is “filled with a cookies and cream white chocolate ganache.”

Man, this couple really takes the whole “till death do us part” thing seriously. This great wedding cake has both the bride and the groom decapitated. Well, two heads are better than one, even on a cake.

Here’s a joke for you. If the Doctor got married, what would the TARDIS look like on the inside? Clean, without Mountain Dew cans all over the place, floral arrangements on the console, no drinking from the milk carton and the Doctor wouldn’t be allowed to put his feet up on the furniture anymore.

I’m sorry guys, but that Dinosaurs on a Spaceship episode of Doctor Who… not so great IMHO. But if there is one good thing that came from that episode, it is this awesome mini episode called Dinosaurs on a Wedding Cake.

You know, I kind of like Claptrap from the Borderlands games, but I have to admit, he was also really, really annoying. Still, he made the game a little more interesting with his stupid banter. He’s just not as cool as R2-D2.

Reddit user eclaire4186 received the best wedding gift ever when her sister had these Dalek cakes made for her. Her sister had been teasing her for months and then, just as they were wrapping up the wedding lunch, these two creatures were unveiled.
