Back when the Nintendo Wii was the hot console to have, I stood in line for an hour to buy one. Once I got it home, the controls were cool for about two days and then I went back to playing my PS3.
Nintendo announced this morning that not only are they releasing the elusive black Wii in the United States on May 9th, but that they will also start bundling all sorts of bonus goodies with every Wii they sell.
I’m reasonably certain this game is not Wii Fit or Wii Sports. Actually, I’m sure of it. Apparently another cheap Chinese knock-off, the makers of ifit Sports want us to think it’s a combination Nintendo’s popular sports and workout games.
Nintendo’s first money printing machine was Super Mario Bros., which sold 40 million units. What kind of game do you think could top that? A Zelda game? Pokemon? Another Mario game? It’s none of the above, because a certain bundled game called Wii Sports has now sold at least 42 million copies.
