For those who don’t know, Pyro is one of the X-Men. A lesser known character in the Marvel universe. Even so, his backpack mounted flamethrower is pretty darn cool. I mean hot. It is kind of lame though that Pyro can’t produce fire on his own, but can only control it.

Check out this video of Colin Furze (the maniac who gave us those cool Wolverine claws) walking on the ceiling using his newly-completed, homemade Magneto boots. I question his sanity after seeing him laughing hysterically over the feat.

10 years ago, pop artist Brandon Bird found an X-Men coloring & activity book filled with awful sketches at a dollar store. Brandon eventually decided to turn it into a collaborative work with his fellow artist friends.

We’ve seen a pair of electrified Wolverine claws, but part of what makes the actual weapons cool is that Wolvie can make them come out and retract at will. Inventor Colin Furze figured out a way to achieve that in his replica.

Minifigs are often hated and feared by humans because they are different. Also because it hurts when you step on them. True believer Glen Bricker wants to build a haven for these extraordinary toys with his proposal for an official LEGO X-Men X-Mansion, aka Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters.

Laura Kinney aka X-23 was cloned from a damaged copy of Wolverine’s genes, and was created to be an assassin in the X-Men universe. With her sharp Adamantium claws, I certainly wouldn’t want to mess with her.

Comedian Pete Holmes is at it again with another Ex-Men video. In the series, he dresses like Professor-X and fires some underperforming X-Men mutant. The last time I mentioned one of these videos it was the incredibly lame Jubilee that was getting the axe.

Let’s be honest, some of the superheroes created in the Marvel universe aren’t all that super. Sure, we have some really cool superheroes such as Wolverine, but we also have some really lame superheroes like Jubilee.

Many Pokémon have an affinity to natural elements, a trope that they share with other superheroes. Singapore-based shirt designer Barefists figured it would be nice to mashup the critters to famous heroines that share their elemental strengths in what he’s calling PokePinups.

Relax mutants. That is not a real sentinel. You can go back to your schoolwork which Professor X is expecting in the morning. This awesome stained glass creation was made by Zero Wing Labs and it looks amazing.

Detroit is working on a Robocop statue, so of course Edmonton, Canada wants their own statue now. Not just any statue, mind you. They want a 1,000 foot tall statue of Wolverine. If this keeps up we are going to have superhero statues everywhere.

The love team of Rémy LeBeau and Anna Marie…Something was one of the most popular couples in mainstream comics, partly because for a long time, Rogue’s power meant they couldn’t make physical contact without Gambit turning into the world’s most charming vegetable.

While many of us are used to Hugh Jackman’s big-screen version of Wolverine, comic book purists prefer the original version, complete with yellow body and pointy black ears. So here you go…

Growing up in the 80s means I spent a good bit of time in an arcade playing video games. I was always more of a Pac-Man or Pole Position type of junkie, but I did generally creep over and play a couple games of pinball in between pixelated plays. 

I don’t remember the exact issue in which the X-Men became babies, but I seem to remember seeing them as such, for a short while at least. Regardless, illustrator Skottie Young had his own vision of the super-powered tots and redesigned some of the classic X-Men as babies.

If there’s one thing that many superheroes and villains seem to have in common is that they inevitably find themselves rappelling scaling up the side of a building for one reason or another. Artist Nicholas Hyde (aka “Harshness“) made note of this unusual behavioral pattern, and has documented it for us with this cool series of illustrations.
