A lot of gamers swear by the great fit and button placement of the Xbox 360 controller, so it’s no surprise that a gaming peripheral manufacturer like Speedlink would sell a PC gamepad that looks a lot like the Microsoft console’s controller.
I can not wait until the next Batman movie. At least we have Arkham City to tide us over until 2012, when we can finally see The Dark Knight Rises. As an added treat we also now have this custom Arkham City Xbox 360 console to drool over.
Now that Bungie is out and 343 Industries is in charge, things seem to be in motion for more Halo. Last week at the PAX conference, 343 Industries’ creative director, Frank O’Connor gave some interesting hints about Halo 4.
Just kidding about Lucas wanting to make some changes as he does with every release of these movies. However the R2-D2 Xbox bundle has been delayed until 2012 because they want to make sure that the Star Wars Kinect game is as good as it can be when it ships.
There are tons of racing wheels out there for PS3 racing games and some of them have Force Feedback tech inside to make them more realistic. There are racing wheels for the Xbox 360 as well, but many of them just aren’t that good.
Most all of the gadgets that we have today are glossy on the outside. Many gadgets like smartphones and computers also have glossy screens on the inside. Glossy looks better than matte to most people but glossy surfaces get stained up with smears and fingerprints.
In the old days we were content to play video games sitting on our rumps and we liked it. The only problem is that many gamers started outgrowing their gaming chairs, some of them spilling their flab over the sides of their armrests, which made it impossible to reach for their Cheetos and Mountain Dew.
Defeat the Flood of dirt on your body with this Halo Spartan soap from – who else ? – Digitalsoaps. Each soap weighs 7 ounces and has a gold face shield. It would be awesome if a face layer appeared when the shield and helmet are worn out through use, but that’s not a feature at this point.
There’s a limited edition Star Wars-themed Xbox 360 coming up, that features some cool droid-inspired designs. Both Microsoft and LucasArts unveiled this console bundle for the upcoming Kinect Star Wars game yesterday at the San Diego Comic-Con.
When I had more than one person over playing video games as a kid we always ended up in an argument about who would change the video game when we wanted to swap titles. While most of us have managed to make the adjustment from keyboard and mouse to dual-analog joysticks to play FPSes on our consoles, there’s still nothing quite as accurate the keyboard/mouse combo. This new system from XCM hopes to even improve upon that.
I’ve seen quite a few Xbox 360 laptops over the years, but I have to say that this one is the skinniest one I’ve seen to date. James Terry of Darkuncle Custom Gaming built this slimline Xbox 360 laptop that measures just 2.5″ thick, 14.25″ long and 9.75″ deep.
Master modder Ben Heck has been wowing us for almost five years now with his portable console mods, many of which are laptop versions of the Xbox 360. While his designs are great both in terms of form and function, most of them are either one-offs or quite expensive.
